Physical Education Kit
The Physical Education Department at Hornchurch High School has very high expectations and standards of kit for your child’s PE lessons. May I take this opportunity to remind parents/carers that all students must bring their Hornchurch High School PE kit for every Physical Education lesson, even if they are not going to be actively involved as a performer. If there is a legitimate reason for not being actively involved in PE, a note should be supplied to PE staff in order for them to select appropriate activities. Your child can still be involved in the lesson by refereeing, umpiring, scoring, coaching or helping to organise resources etc in full PE kit. Wearing PE kit prevents school uniform from getting wet/dirty/damaged and students getting cold whilst outside. The compulsory PE kit is listed below; –

HHS PE Girls Track Pants (if girls do not wish to wear shorts) – now available to buy PE socks
We are outside wherever possible and students may also wear the following extra clothes in inclement weather. These items can also be purchased if required; –

HHS Multi Sport Top – for colder weather
HHS Hooded Sweatshirt – for colder weather

Older versions of the Hornchurch High PE kit may be worn as long as it is previous Hornchurch High School kit and nothing else.
