CUH are hosting a nursing, midwifery and healthcare support worker open day on Saturday 15 October 2022, 10:00am – 15:00pm!

Come along and learn about the different roles and areas within Cambridge University Hospitals and Royal Papworth NHS Foundation Trusts, both campus’ welcome you to come and find out about working life here with us. Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to talk to area specific staff, and ask any questions you may have about the roles. We have a range of opportunities ranging from entry level to qualified professionals. Whether you are newly qualified, or looking for a new career direction we have the options to explore. Just check out each stand in the exhibition hall.

Areas will include:
Division A- Services include: Critical Care, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Pre-Assessment, Endoscopy, Perioperative care, Musculoskeletal, Digestive Diseases, Colorectal, Day Surgery, Gastroenterology & Rheumatology. Theatres & Recovery too!

Division B- Services Include: Oncology, Haematology, Radiology & Outpatients

Division C- Services include: Care of the Elderly, Transplant, Dialysis, General Medicine, Respiratory, Hepatology, Acute Assessment Unit, Infusion Services, Infectious Diseases, Diabetes & Endocrinology. Including Emergency Care

Division D- Services Include: Neurosciences, Cardiology & Coronary Care, Endocrinology, Vascular, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Max Facs, and Opthalmology

Division E- Paediatrics and Midwifery & Womens Services

Divisions will be ready and waiting to talk about their specialities, and even show you with interactive set ups!

Our Nursing Apprenticeships team are attending along with our Clinical Education team too. Also attending are our Physicians Assistants and Volunteer department. There will be someone to answer any questions you have.

The Recruitment Services Team will be available all day to answer any questions you have. Our Staff Bank Services Team will also be there to explain what it means to work on the bank. A great option if you would like to explore different areas, or require some flexibility.
