On Friday 3rd March 2023 a group of 26 year 10 female students visited the Bank of America in St Pauls, London for an Inspiring Futures Event. This event provided the students with an exciting opportunity to explore a renowned banking institution. During this visit student’s will receive careers insight talks from leading banking professionals with the aim of inspiring the next generation of experts in the field of banking and finance. The students were a real credit to the school throughout the course of the trip.

Happy Birthday to Mango, Hornchurch High School’s Wellbeing dog Mango works with our wellbeing team for 1-1 sessions focusing on calmness, anxiety and sit and listen sessions for literacy.
We have some fantastic PE related news – last term we had 2/5-year groups all of whom have made it through to the borough Semi-finals. Our year 8 team unfortunately didn’t make it however; the Y10’s did. This make me immensely proud of the whole team and more importantly, this shows the direction we as a department are heading. The Y10’s put in a stella performance against Redden court where we won 45-38 (see picture below).
