In the light of sports day being cancelled the PE department are excited to announce that we have signed up to London’s Virtual Games. 

The sole purpose of this event is to further provide all students with more opportunities to keep fit and healthy during this difficult period.  

The virtual games will take place over a 4 week period, giving all students the chance to complete a series of practical challenges that can be completed either at home or while out for their daily exercises.

There will be weekly challenges released @ 9am every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Each challenge will be based on activities which won’t require any extra equipment. 

Every student will have until Friday to complete the challenges set; all scores/videos need to be submitted on one of Hornchurch High’s social media platforms

Individual prizes are also up for grabs, each week a MVP (Most Valuable Player) award will be selected based on creativity and style shown.

Winner could be in for a chance to win a pair of Nike trainers.
