All Students are asked to be tested for Covid
As the fight against COVID-19 continues, Havering asking everyone connected to secondary schools to be tested for Covid.
This includes:
- All pupils
- All staff
- Close family
But this is NOT FOR ANYONE WHO HAS SYMPTOMS
Why and why only those people?
This is so we can try to find more people who have the virus and are spreading it but don’t know they are
For anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, including a high temperature, new continuous cough and loss of sense of taste or smell, please book a test in the usual way: call 119 or book online at https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test
This group will be tested on new testing sites (open from 12th-22nd Dec)
The new sites are at Havering Town Hall in Romford (test site directly opposite the Town Hall building), Dorrington Gardens car park in Hornchurch and Viking Way car park in Rainham. You don’t need to book a test to go to these sites
