Student Guide for Remote Working
Dear Parents/Carers
As you are aware, the school is now closed.
As a reminder, please see the information below and the attachment advising how to access the ‘Teams’ learning platform so that students can work from home.
We will continue to work closely with you and your children as fully as possible over the coming weeks/months until things return to normal.
Communication is going to be key during this time and so we have arranged the following:
Student work will be set each week via the Office 365 learning platform ‘Teams’. All students have been shown this in school, but we have also attached a help sheet for guidance.
The school office emails will be monitored from staff working at home from 10.00am until 2.00pm each working day for the foreseeable future. Please phone (leaving a voice message) or email any queries or requests and we will endeavour to reply within 24 hours.
A list of staff emails are available on the school website should you need to contact any members of staff individually.
Work will be sent out via the learning platform. We will review each week as we go and make any necessary changes as and when government guidance changes, or our own staffing levels vary. Work cannot be collected as originally planned under the current circumstances so please ask your student to work from their Knowledge Organiser for the time being.

Like you, we will keep our ears and eyes trained on the BBC news updates and we will communicate any changes to you as quickly as possible as things unfold.
