The Local Governing Body of Hornchurch High School has responsibility under the Academy’s Articles of Government for its general direction. The Headteacher is responsible for the internal organisation and management of the Academy. Should you wish to make contact with any member of the Governing Board please email the school office at admin@hornchurchhigh.com and mark the email as confidential. This will then be forwarded to the appropriate person.

The Governing Body has significant responsibilities. In particular, it is responsible for the Academy’s delegated budget and for the curriculum.

At Hornchurch High School the Governing Body meets in full once every half term.
