Parentmail is currently down
Many parents have been telling us that they are unable to access parentmail.
We contacted parentmail who replied with the following information:
‘Unfortunately, due to the high volume of items being sent out, there are continued delays of items e.g. emails/forms being sent out as well as reports being generated. They should eventually be sent out/generated’.
You will probably have seen the message on their site re messaging delays:
‘Due to increased network traffic beyond our control, we are currently experiencing some temporary delays of up to 60 minutes when sending email messages. This does not affect your SMS messages. Please be assured, we are doing all we can to support your school during this difficult time. While some delays are expected due to increased pressure on broadband networks, our engineers continue to monitor the Parentmail system to ensure we can meet demand. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.’
