HORNCHURCH HIGH RECEIVES ‘GOOD’ IN OFSTED REPORT

Hornchurch High OFSTED Report 2019
The written report is really great reading and there is much to celebrate. We are well on our journey now and are firmly a GOOD school in all categories.
In the verbal feedback, it was mentioned several times by the inspectors that there are ‘green shoots of excellence’ all over the school and that much of the practice they observed over the 2 days could be categorised as outstanding. However, there just wasn’t enough evidence overall for them to award the OFSTED grade ‘Outstanding’, ……….next time!
I am extremely proud to be the Head Teacher at Hornchurch High School and I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support as we make our way to Outstanding.
