Young people can apply if they are aged 11 – 17yrs and live or attend education in the Borough. Young people can apply via this link: https://www.havering.gov.uk/youthelection
- Applications open: Monday 27th September
- Applications close: Friday 29th October
- Invitation to Manifesto and Interview workshop: Thursday 2nd December
- Submit Manifesto: Monday 6th December
- Successful applicants informed on: Monday 13th December
- Public Speaking Workshop: Thursday 16th December
- Social Media and Video Workshop: Thursday 13th January
- Campaigning and Elections open: Monday 24th January – Friday 11th February
- Results date 22/2/22 (to be confirmed)
- Start of Term: 1st March 2022 – 2024
Any young people not successful for Youth Parliament, will automatically be offered a place at Havering Youth Council. Young people may be interested in Youth Parliament and what it has to offer, but may not have the confidence to run for elections. Therefore becoming a member of Havering Youth Council is an excellent alternative. Please see link for more information and how to apply for Youth Council:
